I cannot say enough good things about Joe! For starters, he is extremely prompt and answered me right away from our first interaction. During COVID, we had to reschedule our wedding and he was very flexible about the date change. The week leading up to the wedding, Joe checked in with me multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly. On the wedding day, everything was custom to our wants and executed seamlessly! All around, Joe is such a great guy and really felt like family on our big day. I would recommend Joe to all of my family and friends!

We had Joey D for our Wedding and needless to say he made it an epic party. He made our uplighting perfect and nailed our ceremony music. The best part was the dancing, once he got the dance lights going, everyone was ready to party! (He also let us dance on the subwoofers which made for some hilarious photo ops). Can’t recommend Joey D enough, he made our wedding a night to remember and at an affordable price!

My husband and I looked into and spoke with several DJs before we decided on hiring DJ Joey D. We are so happy with our choice! Joe was very easy to work with and had a great portal online to assist with music selections in advance. He was always responsive to emails and calls.
I have found with so many outdoor weddings that you can barely hear the ceremony and/or music and I was so impressed with Joe's sound system for our outdoor (and far from electrical outlets!) ceremony! The mic and speaker system were top quality and picked up everything so all our guests could hear. Dancing was very important to me and I am not kidding when I say Joe had guests up dancing all night! My husband is very musically inclined and even felt like Joe built up the music throughout the evening to a peak right before the reception was over. We had guests telling us how awesome of a job he did for days and that some of them even had a great conversation with him. 100% recommend hiring Joe for your big day!!

After speaking with a few different DJs, both my husband and I felt DJ Joey D would be the best fit for us. During that initial conversation, we could tell he had the perfect attitude with just the right amount of energy coupled with the utmost professionalism, courtesy, and extraordinary customer service. In addition to his personality and packages, one of the reasons we decided to hire Joe was because we loved the idea of having a portal where we could easily enter all of our wedding song requests for different segments of the event and keep track of timing. This made it really easy to make sure we had appropriate music selected throughout the night and to include the music we wanted most. Little did we know that Joe would turn into the best hire for our day. He made sure to check in with us before our date to ensure the details of the timeline and order of events were correct. He was very accommodating with a few last minute changes and unknown variables. He also checked in with both the bride and the groom the morning of to make sure everything was according to plan and if they was anything we needed. Throughout the day Joe was there to help our event run smoothly. After pictures, my husband and I were stranded on a long walk from the reception site. Joe found a golf cart and personally came to the rescue to pick us up. This level of service continued throughout the night as he checked in with both my husband and I frequently to make sure everything was working for us and to make sure we were on the same page. Joe also responded quickly and took swift action when we had a little medical emergency. He helped expedite the situation while still attending to us and our guests. He was so sweet to our flower girl and made sure to play all her requests. Joe also took requests from our other guests which made everyone very happy. I thought he created a great play list and transitioned perfectly from one song to the next. Again, Joe provided excellent service leading up to and throughout our wedding ceremony and reception, and he was perfect for our wedding!

Joe was very pleasant to work with from start to finish. Even when we ran into an issue with our venue he made the appropriate accommodations to make sure we would still have everything we wanted. And I love the lighted monogram that was even displayed on the dance floor. And I really liked how we got to choose the music that we wanted to have. Even out first dance mashup was awesome he found the right version of every song and mashed it up perfectly for my husband and I to have an epic first dance. Would def recommend him.

Joe did a phenomenal job DJing our wedding. After postponing due to covid, he was flexible and communicative. His online portal makes it so easy to drag and drop your requests, link your Spotify account, make comments about the songs, and creates a seamless timeline for the day. On the day of the actual wedding, the dance floor was absolutely packed and everyone had a blast. He totally understood our vision, and knew all the right songs to play, really paying attention to both the crowd and our music taste. DJ Joey D was great! We booked him for our reception in July. We had already got married in January but were having the reception in July because of COVID. His price was the most affordable I found on WeddingWire. He was very responsive, and able to be flexible as we were having a band play as well. He was able to provide an external speaker for the outside patio cocktail hour on request at no extra charge. His wedding website allowed me to plan the timeline, select songs, and share my spotify playlists so he could see our taste on music. The night was rockin! A couple days before, he reached out to confirm the timeline and sent a finalized spreadsheet of the night, sharing with the venue and band day of. Very easy to work with and has a beautiful DJ booth with lights! (I love anything that glows.) He can show up in formal or attire or a polo and khakis based on your preference. I certainly recommend and the price was great!!!!

I have all good things to say about DJ Joey D. First off, he is reliable and professional. From my first inquiry through the final song of the wedding, Joe was responsive to our needs, helpful with our issues and concerns, and he instilled confidence that he would get the job done as requested. He was able to find all the songs we needed, including obscure French songs for my mother-in-law, and songs from Disney World rides that my nieces requested on the spot. Joe did my 2020 Halloween wedding. He was completely flexible when we had some last minute changes (like the best man not being able to come but doing a virtual toast) and he was so accommodating without up charges. I was initially a little weary as his price was so low compared to other djs but his reviews put me at ease. And now I'm confident in saying he was a great choice. Working with Joe was simply amazing. He made the whole process of planning extremely easy. He is very responsive to emails which makes planning easy. His website is designed to help you pick out music and set up timing for everything so easily. There are lists of songs that help if you don’t know where to start for songs. We hired Dj Joey D for our wedding and The experience was far beyond our expectations.
His online play list and library of song choices was amazing. Any song we wanted that was not listed he found and added for us. For example our last dance of the night was a older song and he called me to play it just to make sure it was the right one.
He kept in contact with us during the planning and he was very accommodating, personable and professional.
We went over the time line for the wedding and he was amazing about working with my videographer to get in all the little extras we had planned for our special day.
He had the option to separate the songs for our cocktail hour and the reception which we loved as we miss the cocktail hour for photography but wanted to make sure we played what we knew people would love.
He was at the Country Club nice an early long before we arrived to set up.
The lighting was perfection and the monogram on the floor was beautiful.
He went over where to stand for the best lighting for our first dance, did all the announcements on time and even took a video of our wedding and put it on YouTube which was so awesome.
He played almost every single song on our play list and kept the crowd going right till the end. He interacted with my guests and vendors, He definitely brought lots of life and laughs to the party. There wasn’t a single time that dance floor was empty which was exactly what we wanted.
My entire wedding party and all my friends kept saying how much they loved him.
He made our wedding so special and for that we can’t be thankful enough.
I can honestly say if you are looking for a reasonably priced DJ who will go way above and beyond DJ Joey D is your guy. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
